BlackBock wins Award in Barcelona"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>As you know &#8211; we do not care too much for official beer styles. So when we introduced BlackBock in the autumn of 2015 that is exactly what we showed &#8211; a black bock beer with 6%\u00a0ABV\u00a0packed with fresh flavours of German hops, roasted malts and notes of licorice.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Of course this doesn&#8217;t fit in with the way too sweet bocks that most breweries in the Netherlands brew, however its fits our philosophy of brewing according to the taste of the season. We simply think this is how autumn tastes\/ should taste.<\/p>\n<p>On festivals and online our choice for BlackBock was already recognised and now it is also judged and approved by a professional jury. Winning a Bronze medal at the Barcelona Beer Challenge, part of the awesome Barcelona Beer Festival, makes us very proud indeed!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2429 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vandestreek-bier.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/BBCBlackBock-1024x1024.png\" alt=\"BBCBlackBock\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As you know &#8211; we do not care too much for official beer styles.
