BAM! Get blown away by this stunner, the big brother of the IPA is a true hop bomb. By using American hops (Citra, Columbus and Amarillo) and lots of malt, there is a lot of bitterness, fruitiness and maltiness present. This three-part series of Imperial stouts are lagered in three different barrels: Jack Daniels, Glenfarclas and a blend of Tomatin, Burnside and Tobermory. All three the beers are brewed as an Imperial Porter, a hoppy and malty beer with a high alcohol percentage and a distinct black colour. The first Playground beer is now also available in bottles! Going by the name of Mosaic IPA this beer will be available throughout the Netherlands and also in some other European countires. This IPA is brewed and dry-hopped with the American hop variety Mosaic. Mosaic gives this IPA it’s fruity flavour and aroma. At the Arno Wallaard Memorial cycling tour they know what they are doing. These guys have invited us to tap our beers to the thirsty spectators as well as the riders in this tour once they are finished. We couldn’t think of any better reason to get into Spandex and ride across the area for a few hours!
